Melon Flowers

My son believes that any seed you plant will grow. I knew the melon seeds wouldn't grow. I was wrong and happy to be so. Every night another batch of buds burst and bloom their beautiful bright yellow and then through the following day fade and wilt. In time we'll see if they bear fruit but they have already brought pleasure.

A Lie In

I am rubbish at lie ins. Tired as a Mum of two is, I don't want to be asleep. I want to be doing. Right now I am forcing myself not to be lured by the lovely sounds of my family playing downstairs and am planning crafty projects that may never happen!

Can't resist any longer . I need my morning cuppa and am being lured by my siren daughter singing 'pideman pideman' to another Sunday Funday.
